Carla Ridge 1960
Carla Ridge 1960
Carla Ridge 1960 is a high-end custom single-family residence in the City of Beverly Hills, designed with a low-profile contemporary language that emphasizes privacy, natural light, and a strong relationship to the landscape. The architecture combines dark stucco and metal-clad volumes with light stone surfaces, warm vertical wood screens, expansive glazing, and restrained landscaping to create a sophisticated material palette. The spatial concept organizes the residence as a series of horizontal volumes connected around a protected central entry, allowing the main living spaces to open toward private gardens while maintaining a discreet street presence. A key design challenge was balancing large areas of glazing and open-plan living with privacy and neighborhood scale. The result is a refined Beverly Hills residence defined by clean geometry, warm materials, and carefully controlled views.
