Casiano is a high-end custom single-family residence in the City of Los Angeles, designed for a hillside setting with a contemporary interpretation of classic residential architecture. The exterior combines crisp white stucco and painted brick with dark-framed windows, black metal roofing, warm wood garage doors, and natural landscape elements to create a refined and timeless material palette. The spatial concept follows the slope through a sequence of connected volumes, allowing living spaces to step with the terrain while maintaining strong access to natural light and outdoor areas. A key design challenge was integrating a substantial family program into the hillside without overwhelming the site, while also preserving privacy and a comfortable residential scale. The result is an elegant Los Angeles home that blends traditional roof forms with clean contemporary detailing and a strong connection to the landscape.
