Dona Lisa is a high-end custom single-family residence in the City of Los Angeles, designed for a hillside setting with a warm contemporary character that emphasizes natural materials, privacy, and a strong connection to the landscape. The exterior combines textured dark stucco, smooth concrete, warm vertical wood cladding, dark metal details, expansive glazing, and integrated planting to create a refined and grounded material palette. The spatial concept organizes the home around a clear central entry, layered terraces, and large openings that bring natural light deep into the interior while connecting the main living spaces to landscaped outdoor areas. A key design challenge was adapting a substantial family residence to the hillside while maintaining a balanced street presence, privacy, and comfortable circulation between levels. The result is a sophisticated Los Angeles home with clean geometry, warm materials, and a strong relationship to its natural setting
