Glendon is a high-end custom single-family residence in the City of Los Angeles, designed with a warm contemporary architectural language centered on generous outdoor living, natural light, and strong horizontal proportions. The exterior combines smooth white stucco, rich wood cladding and soffits, natural stone accents, dark metal railings, and expansive glazing to create a refined and inviting material palette. The spatial concept extends the main living areas toward the garden through large sliding openings, while broad upper-level balconies and deep roof overhangs provide shaded outdoor spaces and strengthen the connection between interior and landscape. A key design challenge was accommodating a substantial family program while keeping the residence visually light, open, and well connected to its outdoor areas. The result is a sophisticated Los Angeles home that balances warm materials, contemporary detailing, and comfortable indoor-outdoor living.
