Sarbonne 2 is a high-end custom single-family residence in the City of Los Angeles, designed as a contemporary hillside home that takes advantage of elevation, views, and layered outdoor spaces. The architecture combines sweeping roof planes, expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing, light stucco surfaces, dark stone accents, glass railings, and warm wood soffits to create a dramatic yet refined material palette. The spatial concept is organized across multiple levels, with interconnected terraces, open living areas, and transparent circulation zones that strengthen the relationship between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. A key design challenge was adapting a substantial residential program to the steep hillside while preserving openness, natural light, and visual continuity. The result is a distinctive Los Angeles residence with strong horizontal lines, generous outdoor living, and a highly integrated response to its site.
