Skyline is a high-end custom single-family residence in the City of Los Angeles, designed to respond to a steep hillside site through a vertically layered architectural composition. The residence combines smooth light stucco, dark metal railings, large glazed openings, and restrained contemporary detailing to create a clean and understated material palette. The spatial concept is organized across multiple levels, with terraces, balconies, and exterior circulation connecting interior living spaces to elevated views and outdoor areas. A key design challenge was accommodating a full residential program on a narrow sloping site while maintaining efficient circulation, privacy, and natural light. The result is a functional and refined Los Angeles hillside home that makes effective use of its terrain and vertical organization.
