Afar – Brentwood is a high-end custom single-family residence in Brentwood, City of Los Angeles, designed with a refined Mediterranean-inspired architectural language that emphasizes symmetry, proportion, and a strong sense of arrival. The exterior combines smooth stucco, natural stone detailing, terracotta roof tiles, ornamental metalwork, and warm wood accents, creating a timeless and elegant material palette. The spatial concept organizes generous interior living spaces around formal circulation and landscaped outdoor areas, while large windows and French doors bring natural light into the home and strengthen connections to the garden. A key design challenge was accommodating a substantial luxury residential program while preserving a graceful residential scale and cohesive architectural character. The result is a sophisticated Brentwood residence that blends traditional Mediterranean detailing with contemporary comfort and functionality.
