Enchanted Way is a high-end custom single-family residence in Pacific Palisades, designed as a contemporary hillside home that responds carefully to the natural slope and surrounding landscape. The architecture uses clean horizontal forms, smooth light stucco, natural wood screening, expansive glazing, and restrained concrete elements to create a calm and refined material palette. The spatial concept places the residence along the contour of the site, using terraces, screened openings, and large windows to capture natural light and views while maintaining privacy from the street. A key design challenge was integrating the home into the steep terrain without overpowering the hillside, resulting in a low-profile residence that feels closely connected to the landscape. The final design combines modern architecture, efficient planning, and a strong indoor-outdoor relationship suited to the character of Pacific Palisades.
