Michael 1835 is a high-end custom single-family residence in Pacific Palisades, designed with a refined contemporary interpretation of traditional residential architecture. The composition combines crisp white brick and siding, dark-framed glazing, warm wood garage doors, black metal railings, and a restrained landscape palette to create a bright, elegant street presence. The spatial concept is organized around a central glazed circulation zone that brings natural light deep into the home while visually connecting the two primary residential volumes. Generous windows and carefully framed openings strengthen the relationship between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. A key design challenge was creating a substantial family residence that feels open and contemporary while remaining compatible with the residential scale and character of Pacific Palisades.
