Warner 456
Warner 456
Warner 456 is a high-end custom single-family residence in the City of Los Angeles, conceived as a contemporary hillside home that responds directly to its sloping site and elevated views. The architecture is composed of layered, cantilevered volumes that step with the terrain, creating generous terraces and sheltered outdoor living spaces on multiple levels. A refined palette of light stone, dark metal framing, warm wood soffits, and expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing gives the residence a sophisticated modern character while bringing abundant natural light into the interior. The spatial concept organizes the home vertically, connecting living spaces to terraces and views while integrating vehicle access and private outdoor areas into the hillside. A key design challenge was accommodating a substantial residential program on a steep site without overwhelming the landscape. The result is a distinctive Los Angeles residence with strong indoor-outdoor connections and a carefully integrated relationship to the terrain.
