Yaghmaie is a high-end custom single-family residence in the City of Los Angeles, designed with a warm Mediterranean-inspired architectural character that emphasizes proportion, shade, and a strong relationship to the landscape. The exterior combines smooth stucco walls, terracotta roof tiles, exposed wood eaves, dark metal railings, and traditional window detailing to create a timeless residential palette. The spatial concept organizes the home around layered indoor and outdoor spaces, with balconies, covered terraces, and landscaped areas extending the living environment beyond the interior. A key design challenge was integrating a substantial modern family program within a traditional architectural language while maintaining privacy and a comfortable neighborhood scale. The result is a refined Los Angeles residence that blends classic Mediterranean character with contemporary functionality.
