Michael 1877 is a high-end custom single-family residence in Pacific Palisades, designed around a warm contemporary language that balances clean geometry with a welcoming residential character. The exterior combines smooth light stucco, natural wood cladding, dark metal window frames and railings, and broad roof overhangs to create a refined and timeless material palette. The spatial concept emphasizes a clear central entry, generous natural light, and strong connections between the main living areas and private landscaped outdoor spaces. A key challenge was creating a substantial family home that feels open and modern while maintaining privacy and an appropriate neighborhood scale. The result is a sophisticated Pacific Palisades residence that combines elegant proportions, warm materials, and functional everyday living.
